Before you cut

How many people does it seat?

The 6 ft table seats 6 adults and the 8 ft table seats 8. The 4 ft kids table seats 4 children.

What lumber does it use?

2x6 boards for the top, seats, legs and seat supports, 2x4 for the cleats and braces, joined with 3/8 in carriage bolts.

Pressure treated or not?

Pressure-treated lumber lasts longest outside, but let it dry before you stain it. Untreated lumber needs a finish and sitting off wet ground.
